Please contact Brian Jett, Principal, or Pat Horton, STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES FPHS faculty and staff use Response to Instruction(RtI) to guide the instruction of students, respond to attendance/truancy issues and student behavior. RtI is a multi-step (or tier) approach used in many schools across the country to match instruction and services to student need, monitoring progress often to make decisions about changes in instruction and/or goals. RTI guides Attendance/Truancy policy - Students who are absent must bring either a parent note or doctor's excuse to school within 3 days of return to school or absence will be determined to be unexcused. No more than 3 days per 9 weeks may be excused by parent note. Three unexcused tardies or checkouts will equal one unexcused absence. Go to the "FILES" section on the right-hand side of this page and select the "Attendance" file.
DELAYED OPENING PROCEDURES When school opening is delayed, you will receive a school cast phone message and announcements will be made on radio and TV stations.
